Laren Industries Inc. was founded in 1930 by Louis Horowitz, who passed the business along to son Murray Horowitz, father of the present owner, Steven J. Horowitz. For three generations, the company has traditionally served the needs of the Menswear trade in the metropolitan area. As a jobbing house, only fabrics which are owned by the company are offered out for sale. As nothing is done on speculation, goods are already in our possession, thus available for immediate shipment.

Laren Industries has for decades a well earned reputation for expediting orders, shipping quickly and following up sales with accurate paperwork sent on a timely basis.

Steven J. Horowitz has brought the firm into the 21st century, by pursuing and servicing new markets here and abroad. Although the company still carries a very large selection of shirtings of all possible descriptions, it now offers an equally broad array of bottom weight sportswear fabrics, prints and novelties.

The recently formed relationship with new independent brokers in the New York market, a new in-house sales team and the ongoing computerization of the company together assure Laren Industries its pre-eminent place in the industry.
